CYBER10 Extreme III



The final release of the first semester of 2013. The third volume of Extreme will please the ears of the ones who like Folk/Death Metal, Black Metal, Epic Metal and Doom Metal. The highlight goes to the Finns who have a massive participation in this compilation, three bands from the Land of Thousands Lakes. Extreme III starts with the speed and heaviness of Supulcro Vacio in an amazing song named Seres Imortales and it finishes it the experimentalism of Alan Flexa in a Doom-Metal-Like song with progressive elements and a female vocalist with guttural voice.

This great band from Romania started its activities in 1993 under the name V.O.M.A. by Castor Lăpușneanu and Gelu Lăpușneanu. After a long way road and some releases, the band is nowadays making the difference inside the Folk Metal scenario and God is playing all around. Although they're Romanian, some parts in Portuguese can be found on the songs lyrics.

Alan Flexa is a musician and producer from Amapá. He uses to produce progressive tracks and also soundtracks with a high use of synthesizers. Flexa incorporates many elements of metal in some of his songs and the themes are usually about Fantasy, Folk Spirituality and History. .

The power of the Extreme Metal in great fantasy themes, this is Asgardão, the finnish one man project from Turku. To create that power melodies, Asgardão has as influences Vangelis, Iron Maiden, Conan The Barbarian, Manowar and many others

Baptism in Death comes from Feira de Santana, Bahia, where the metal is really underground and this fact makes them unique among other few bands from there. Are clear the band's influences of raw Black Metal and elements of Folk Metal.




MistGuide

MistGuide, Blackened Doom Metal from Finland. Founded 2008, nowadays only member is Mehtar.
Two full-length albums Evolve From Grave and Misery Thorns released trough Satanarsa Recods, and one EP Lonely Years trough internet. MistGuide's music takes influences also from funeral- and drone doom. Lyrical theme's are often about solitude, madness, dreams and philosophy in some way.




Sepulcro Vacio

They started in 1997 in San José, Costa Rica, and since then the band has been evolving inside the Metal style. Nowadays we could state that Sepulcro Vacio is a Heavy/Death Metal band.

Xe-NONE is a mind blowing combination of modern metal sound and electronic-dance grooves. The band draws inspiration from such musically diverse sources as Fear Factory, Scooter, Cradle Of Filth and 2 Unlimited. The band was formed in the mid of 2004 by Lexy Dance (male vocal, programming) and Newman (synths, programming). Since summer 2008 band line-up includes: Lexy Dance (male voice), EvilAnn (female vocal), Newman (synths), Fucker (guitar), Push (drums).

Major Capture were originally one-man-band from Uusikaupunki, Finland, and was founded in the beginning of 2006. After having its moment as a band with real members, Major Capture was again a one-man project.




Summum Bonun

Summum Bonum is a symphonic dark/black metal band. Formed in 2009 by Harim, the name 'Summum Bonum' is latin and means "supreme good". The lyrics include philosophy, spirituality and the growing need of our time to seek unity with the cosmic reality. As one-man-band it released entirely independently its two first works: 'Felix Culpa' EP and 'Um Sonho de Fantasia Nostálgica' MCD using just tones from a keyboard (a Casio CTK-4000!). But now the project has a new member Robson Frederico who has recorded the guitars, bass and drums on the new album titled 'Mors Janua Vitae' (The Death is the Gate of Life).




Blood Covenant

This band from Armenia was formed in 2001 as Iron Cross, playing in the death/trash style, after some changes the name Blood Covenant was adopted and also the Symphonic Black Metal. Lyrical themes are God and the sacrifice of Jesus. Some of the influeces for the band are Extol, Slechtvalk and Crimson Moonlight.

CYBER10 Extreme II







Keeping the same brutality of the first release, the second volume of CYBER10 Extreme brings many interesting bands hailing, as always, from different parts of the globe. This time we got new flags. we welcome Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus and Israel. The compilation starts with the good death metal of Vistery and finishes with the brand new metal of Reação.



Vistery (Belarus)

Vistery is a solo studio Death Metal project from Minsk (Belarus) created by Alexey Kizillo. The musician previously played in many Belarus bands as a guitarist, vocalist and drummer, but wanted to realize himself entirely. In February 2011 debut album “Procreation Of The Wicked” was released.



Häive (Finland)

Häive is a one-man music act coming from the southern part of Finnish present-day Karelia. Musically Häive mixes various metal styles to traditional Karelian folk music and other styles of acoustic music. Propably the biggest influences from the metal side are bands like "Amorphis", "Isengard", "Burzum" and "Ulver", and from the non-metal side bands like "Värttinä", "Hedningarna", "Tenhi" and "Myllärit".

Sebaoth, from Fortaleza (Brazil), is a band of Death Metal which had it's first release in 2000 and in 2010 the band released the first full-length album named "Capitães de Guerra".


Radogost (Poland)

Radogost is a folk-metal band which started its career in the towns of Brenna and Ustroń in the mountain regions of Poland. The band is: Łukasz Muschiol (vocals, lead guitar), Marian Kolondra (rhythm guitar), Jan Musioł (violin), Rafał Bujok (bass) and Marcin Tatar (drums).


After Oblivion (Bosnia & Herzegovina)

Risen form the ashes of Path Beyond Serenity – an oriental flavored melodic death metal band - After Oblivion came to life in 2007. Eastern melodies were ditched for a more intense and sharp sound, still very resolutely rooted in traditional Death Metal, a genre often perceived as destined into oblivion. And Death is the keyword here, with the band deliberately embracing Schuldiner’s legacy, especially their latest works, and using it as a platform to build it’s own sound.


Prenúncia (Brazil)
Formed in 2007 in Tocantins (Brazil), Prenúncia plays Death and Trash metal. The band started as a cover band of Antidemon then later the guys started to compose their own songs, releasing now in 2011 the Demo Ep named "Cadáveres Humanos".



Faith Blast (Brazil)

Influenced by both old school and modern bands of Death Metal, Faith Blast makes a brutal but at the same time a technical music.



Silent Sin (Israel)

Silent Sin was formed in 2009 in Tiberias, Northern Israel. The band defines it's style as Death and Groove israeli metal.


Reação (Brazil)
The band was formed in September 2010, having as influence bands as P.O.D., Demon Hunter, Brian Head, Chevelle, System of a Down... The members are Fabin (guitar), Jorge (vocal), Joe (bass and vocal) and Marlin (drums).

CYBER10 Extreme




The net-label CYBER10 has organized a new compilation, this time uniting bands of the extreme metal style, which includes Death, Black, Folk, Doom, Trash and it's sub-genres of metal. The first is the armenian Blood Covenant with a powerful and symphonic black metal and the last one is the finnish MistGuide with a melancholic, noisy and deep drone/doom. Here's the full list of bands that joined this compilation:



NAME: Surmount Darkness
COUNTRY: Colombia
TRACK: Emperador Eterno
INFO: Surmount Darkness is a band hailing from Bogota, Colombia.
They got a black metal style as well very influenced by nordic folk.
The band exists since 2007 and in december of 2009 they released a demo entitled
"Venciendo La Oscuridad" which means the same of the band's name.

NAME: Clamor
COUNTRY: Brazil
TRACK: Face do Engano
INFO: Brazilian band of Death and Trash metal, after the demo release, the band has been getting their place on the metal scene. Some of the influences are Sepultura, Mortification, Demon Hunter, ZAO and some others.

NAME: Hawthorn
COUNTRY: Brazil
TRACK: Eternal Lord
INFO: Under the influence of Scandinavian bands, Hawthorn was created in 2004, in Curitiba, Paraná, intending to compose Extreme Symphonic Metal with well worked melodies and vocals.
Hawthorn's newest release is the album named Thorns and Blood, a work of folk and symphonic black metal, having themes as faith, death, God.

NAME: My Darkest Time
COUNTRY: Macedonia
TRACK: Rather Fear Him
INFO: Hailing from Macedonia, My Darkest Time is the project of Zarko Atanasov (also of Wipe Away). The track in this compilation is from the newest release named "My Thoughts",
a doom/death metal album with clear folk influences.

NAME: Segor
COUNTRY: Armenia
TRACK: Save me, oh God
INFO: The project of a Blood Covenant's member Segor. This track is from the album "The Man of God", of 2009, a good melodic death/black metal record.

NAME: MistGuide
COUNTRY: Finland

INFO: From Moskow, Russia, SkyRoad is a modern death/trash metal band that works on it's songs under a theme named SkyRoad, a spaceship that "plows the Universe", highlighting everything that is hidden in deep structures of consciousness of civilizations.

NAME: Franz Josef Land
COUNTRY: Finland
TRACK: Still Not North Enough
INFO: Franz Josef Land is a band from Turku, Finland. The song "Still Not North Enough" in this compilation shows the real finnish band's folk spirit, powerful and fast. The band define it's style as Arctic Metal, considering that Franz Josef Land is the name of an archipelago, in the far north, in the east of Svalbard.
