Extreme III starts with the speed and heaviness of Supulcro Vacio in an amazing song named Seres Imortales and it finishes it the experimentalism of Alan Flexa in a Doom-Metal-Like song with progressive elements and a female vocalist with guttural voice.

Although they're Romanian, some parts in Portuguese can be found on the songs lyrics.

Baptism in Death
Baptism in Death comes from Feira de Santana, Bahia, where the metal is really underground and this fact makes them unique among other few bands from there. Are clear the band's influences of raw Black Metal and elements of Folk Metal.

Xe-NONE is a mind blowing combination of modern metal sound and electronic-dance grooves. The band draws inspiration from such musically diverse sources as Fear Factory, Scooter, Cradle Of Filth and 2 Unlimited. CYBER10 Metal Storm VI

CYBER10 Metal Storm Melodic Epic Folk Melodic Symphonic Brazilian Finnish Finland Suomi

Organizing this compilation was a very pleasant job. I could meet some guys and I could also listen to some good new music. I consider this compilation a compilation of "Modern Metal" but surely it doesn't mean New Metal and this is the most interesting, I could gather here bands which play a kind of modern metal but without influences of the American New Metal. As typical of Metal Storm, you're going to listen to some Melodic Power Metal but now with some Electronic as extra and a touch of Symphonic/Epic tunes. The compilation starts with the song I consider an excellent work of Power Metal, really one of my favourite songs: Ride of the Valkyries of the band Delpht and it finishes with the great ballad metal of Santuario. There are also some important facts to highlight about this sixth volume: Astralion and Delohim are including their brand new releases, Arctrace is the first band of Singapore to be part of CYBER10 and all the bands representatives were very kind and positive when I offered the idea of being part of a compilation, good guys.

10 tracks in playlist, average track length: 4:31
Playlist length: 45 minutes 12 seconds

Playlist files:

1. Delpht - Ride Of The Valkyries (5:11)
2. Astralion - At The Edge Of The World (4:13)
3. Soul Source - Fly (3:10)
4. Xe-NONE - Stars (2:57)
5. Arctrace - Pirates of the Caribbean (6:11)
6. Delohim - Your Spirit Never Dies (4:31)
7. Revontulet - Hear Me (Part II) (4:00)
8. Unburied Conception - Into the Deepest Blue (4:18)
9. Kerix - New Land (5:57)
10. Santuario - Te Amaré Por La Eternidad (4:44)

The band was formed in 1998, in Taubaté (São Paulo), by the brothers Thiago Lopes and Vitor Lopes. With more than 10 years of existence, the band developed it's own sound direction, which goes to the Melodic Power Metal with many elements of Prog Metal. The newest release is the single which is included in this compilation: Your Spirit Never Dies.

As another band from São Paulo representing its Power Metal tradition, Delpht started in 1994 but just recorded the first album in 2000. The wait was worthy, Screams of Ice is great release and it's about the story of the viking character Delpht. This name was taken from the Dutch town named Deft, also the birthplace of the famous painter Johannes Vermeer.

Unburied Conception
Instrumental Metal one-man-project hailing from Finland. Unburied Conception mixes melodies with powerful guitars, being easy to identify influences of metal bands as Angra, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish and at the same time a touch of Hans Zimmer.

In 2002, Costa Rica, Osvaldo Ramos (singer and guitarist) got together with Geovanny Ovares (drummer) to form the band Evrock, what would later become Santuario. After some years, many concerts and even some member changes, Santuario became known in the metal scene of its country, taking part of important festivals. It's easy to see that they are well influenced by classical and symphonic music and also like to experiment new ideas.

Xe-NONE is a mind blowing combination of modern metal sound and electronic-dance grooves. The band draws inspiration from such musically diverse sources as Fear Factory, Scooter, Cradle Of Filth and 2 Unlimited. The band was formed in the mid of 2004 by Lexy Dance (male vocal, programming) and Newman (synths, programming). Since summer 2008 band line-up includes: Lexy Dance (male voice), EvilAnn (female vocal), Newman (synths), Fucker (guitar), Push (drums).

Soul Source
Soul Source started in 2002 and in the early of 2003 they took part in a contest called “Young Metal Gods” held by at this point major German label called Noiserecords. Soul Source were voted to be one the Top5 metal demobands in Europe. The band takes the energy of the Power Metal to the extreme, combining it with good melodies.

Revontulet is a female fronted Symphonic Metal band from Moscow, Russia. The music of Revontulet combines enchanting mezzo-soprano of Alexandra, powerful rhythm section, complex orchestral arrangements and catchy melodies.

Last FM
Hasni Arctrace has been in the music industry in Singapore since the age of 16, so that's 20 years now. He plays the guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. He has been in and out of many local bands from metal to ska to contemporary pop and he is currently recording as guest musician for various local artists as drummer and doing guitar arrangements.

Rising from darkness where dark and gloomy metal has ruled for centuries. Carrying a bright spark of change, a light in the dark. ASTRALION, a bone-braking, ear-battering blend of Pop, Rock and Speed Metal served with ultra-high positive energy.

Last FM
Kerix is a Progressive/Gothic Metal band created in 2001 which released an EP named New Land in 2003. The band has the female vocals of Priscila Silva (soprano) and they form a choir with all the band members.

The Steam Clock
A little more steam & a little less punk... The STEAM CLOCK is the project of one Enoch Lycanth who also performs with IxNXRxI on bass & amp; vocals... A more melodiously oriented project than previous efforts that can best be described as "folk music for the post industrialized apocalypse" you can still bet there will always be an undercurrent of brutality because of his neolithic nature... Enoch is currently tinkering & constructing a group of clockwork musicians to perform with so stay tuned to see the results & partake in the many miss adventures of Enoch Lycanth & the magnificent STEAM CLOCK!

The Beckoning
The Beckoning' is an Extreme Gothic Metal band from Edmonton,Alberta,Canada that fuses the aggression of Extreme Metal with the majestic ambience of Gothic soundscapes. Founded by Meghann and Roy Turple and joined together with guitarist/bassist Eldon Loewen, the trio combine their influences together in a songwriting formula that is both unorthodox and organic.

Epic Church
Epic Church was created with the meaning of putting together many elements like technology, faith, romanticism, electro music, medieval music among others. From São Paulo, Emerson Olaf, the only member, has produced everything on the project, releasing the first album named Epic Church (2010) and Epic Church 2.0 (2010) with different versions of the first album. The project has some versions of medieval and romantic era songs.

Epta Astera
Epta Astera is a gregorian folk metal band from North Carolina. In a world of so much rote imitation, Epta Astera finds expression by hearkening back to the pinnacle of Christian musical innovation: the gregorian chant. Taking polyphonic harmonies and melismatic melodies, and fusing them with atmospheric post-metal and sundry folk instruments, the result is aggression, melancholy, and beauty.
Secondly, we believe in the virtue and power of free culture. Every work of Epta Astera is available for download, and source tracks are available upon request for remixing (or amusement, or whatever else).

Dark Valentine
Dark Valentine of Sweden will Enchant you with their compelling music and theatrical performances. They are currently embarking on their "Twill Be Epic" CD Release Tour throughout Scandinavia and Europe... Spring/Summer 2013.

Batzz in the Belfry
"...BATZZ in the belfry delivers every bright expectation in the long distance debut of a band, confirming again the richness of the American underground scene and, above all, it demonstrates that old school gothic-rock can still make its followers dream." (Erba della Strega webzine: Review of "Sparks Fly Upward" by Mr. Moonlight)

Wipe Away
Wipe Away is a project started in 2007 by Zarko Atanasova and Marina Atanasova, both from Macedonia. The songs are Gothic and Doom influenced and are based on Bible's Revelations book.

Under the influence of Scandinavian bands, Hawthorn was created in 2004, in Curitiba, Paraná, intending to compose Extreme Symphonic Metal with well worked melodies and vocals.
Hawthorn's lastest act was opening an Antestor's concert in Brazil.

Adam London
Adam London is a producer/songwriter that specializes in Gothic/Industrial music. He is known for his work in the Industrial band Innothingness Raised Imperishable (keyboard/programming/producer) as well the hardcore act Under Sleepless Skies (bass/producer). A known collaborator, no musical genre is taken for granted, and his influence range form AFI, to Virgin Black, to Imogen Heap. London searches for a sonic landscape that has no boundaries, and where creative expression is valued far above marketable image. He seeks to create music that is both true to the human experience, and is a beacon of hope in a word filled with brokenness.

Smirenie is the side-project of Zarko and Marina Atanasova, the Macedonians of the band Wipe Away.  The songs are sung in Macedonian and there are also some instrumental tracks. The project follows a clear ethno/folk progressive style, with elements of gothic and rock.
