CYBER10 Metal Storm - Finland Brazil Finlandia Brasil Brasilia Suomi Symphonic Melodic Folk Brazilian Conservative Christian Lutheran Melodic
In this special volume of Metal Storm, CYBER10 gathered together artists from Finland and Brazil, in a tribute to the Finnish immigration to Brazil, an interesting hidden part of the Brazilian history, when Toivo Uuskallio, a religious Christian man, left Finland heading to what today is the town of Penedo (in Rio de Janeiro). Uuskallio was searching for the ideal place, a paradise, to start a community, free from the ambitions of the urban technology, living a simple life side by side with nature. Getting back to the music: This albums is essentially symphonic and melodic, with elements of folk and progressive metal, you can check all the information below.

Track By Track: Guerreiros Paulistas - São Paulo National State (2011)

[PT] Sobre o CD

[EN] About The Album

For this album we created an Alternative History (which is a genre of sci-fi) for São Paulo and its surroundings. In a near future, the socialist Latin-American countries gain power over the moral decadence of Europe and the USA that more and more reject and ended up annihilating their traditional way of thinking with left-liberal politics and uncontrolled immigration. In Brazil the ambient get dangerous when the tension between left-liberals and conservatives grows increasingly. When the centralizing government of the capital Brasília gets definitively and officially closer to the socialist neighbour countries a reaction conflict starts strongly initiated by conservatives and liberal-economists (supported by some sectors of the Army, Local Polices and the North-American Conservatives). The capital Brasília destabilizes and moments of chaos start until a treaty is finally signed forming the Estados Confederados do Brasil (Confederated States of Brazil), setting all the States free to decide if they will be socialists or follow another path. São Paulo (now São Paulo National State) and some other States remain non-socialists and then a kind of Cold War start lasting about 10 year when suddenly the socialists start an attack to finish conquering the remaining non-socialist States of the Confederation.

Complex Numbers (Russia)
Website
Complex Numbers band from Vladivostok (Russia) was founded in 1996 by Frol Zapolsky and Victor Argonov. Initially, it was a techno-project, but in fact there are fans of different music genres - from classic to hard-rock and 8-bit game devices.

Echo No Echo is a four piece electro-rock pop group who draw heavily from influences spanning modern indie rock to 1980's synth pop. In the summer of 2006 Echo No Echo formed specifically to open up for Information Society at Portland's Crystal Ballroom. The response was outstanding and propelled the band forward with their new wave synth rock culminating with their summer 2008 debut release “Crystals”. Conjuring up sounds similar to New Order and Gary Numan, Echo No Echo presents the perfect mixture of keyboards, synths and your traditional guitar, drums and bass rock weapons.
